Stephen “Crash” Cassley, is a nine-year veteran of the Calgary Fire Department and is proud to support the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society through this prestigious event. Born and raised in Calgary, Cassley played football for the U of C Dinos while obtaining a degree in Economics. Upon joining the CFD, he has become immersed in training fellow firefighters in various capacities, actively involved in both the Calgary Firefighters Association and their charitable endeavors, advocate for first responder mental health as a peer support and CISM team member, and is currently a five-year member of the HazMat team. When not training for this event or working, Crash enjoys hiking in the mountains, reading, building prosthetic makeups, and drinking bourbon by the fire with friends.
