Cory is a 36-year-old husband and father of two. Growing up, Cory and his family spent most of their life living below the poverty line. Many meals were provided through soup kitchens, food banks, and other community resources. It also wasn’t uncommon for Cory, and many of his friends in the same situation to be exposed to domestic violence. At the beginning of 2018, he gave up his trade as an Ironworker of 12 years to go back to school for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The last year as a student has brought on many challenges for his family financially. He found himself again utilizing local resources to provide food, and a decent Christmas for his family. Naturally, when the opportunity to step up and give back arose, he seized it without hesitation. He might win. He might lose. But he won’t quit.
